In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, hiring, and building pipelines of talent for assigned positions at the Club. The Recruiter will develop partnerships with schools, universities, and organizations to proactively source and engage top candidates. Serving as a true ambassador of Desert Mountain Club, this individual will act as a salesperson for the Club—promoting our culture, values, and opportunities to prospective talent while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. The Recruiter will manage the full life cycle of recruiting for assigned roles, including sourcing and screening, coordinating interviews, facilitating offers, and assisting with onboarding.
The ideal candidate will have an energetic, persuasive, and a relationship-driven personality. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with at least 2-5 years of full life cycle recruiting with prior hospitality or club recruitment experience. As well as high volume recruitment and ATS and HRIS experience. Bilingual in Spanish required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or another related field preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

JOB DETAILS
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with schools, universities, professional organizations, and community partners to create sustainable pipelines of candidates.
- Act as a brand ambassador and salesperson for Desert Mountain Club, representing the organization with energy and professionalism at recruiting events nationwide.
- Travel to attend job fairs, networking events, and other recruiting opportunities across the country.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates based on consistent qualifications.
- Partner with hiring managers to assess needs, provide strategic talent insights, and guide them through the hiring process.
- Ensure job postings clearly define roles and target ideal candidates.
- Coordinate the interview process and manage candidate flow in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Deliver excellent candidate experiences through timely communication, professionalism, and follow-up.
- Extend offers, conduct background checks, and schedule drug testing.
- Participate in onboarding, including I-9 verification, paperwork completion, employee photos, and nametag issuance.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting team on internship programs, employee housing, the H2B Visa Program, and the Employee Referral Program.
- Track and report recruiting metrics to measure success and improve processes.
- Stay informed on recruiting trends and best practices through continued professional development.
- Assist with other HR duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Recruitment and Director of Talent and Culture.
- Typical work hours – Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, additional hours as needed.
