Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Carrollton

Reports to: Branch Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, receiving inventory, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and safe material handling in an HVAC wholesale distribution environment. This role involves leading a team, optimizing workflow, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of HVAC equipment and parts to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of HVAC products to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and minimize discrepancies through proper tracking and reporting.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity, team engagement, and adherence to company policies.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety procedures, conduct routine inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
• Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Ensure proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to meet customer demands and enhance service levels.
• Reporting: Generate reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance, and operational metrics for management review.
  
  

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred
• 5+ years experience in a Distribution environment
• 3+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or industrial distribution.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (certification provided).
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with RF scanning
• Familiarity with 5S or Lean
• Bi-Lingual in English & Spanish highly preferred
• Capability to work in warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures and occasional outdoor exposure.
