Overview:
Lead daily warehouse operations at CXtec’s Goodyear, AZ site to deliver safe, accurate, on-time fulfillment. You’ll supervise associates, orchestrate receiving through shipping (including RMAs/returns and kitting), uphold OSHA and security standards, and own inventory accuracy, property accountability, and audit readiness—using WMS/ERP data to meet customer SLAs and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Front-line leadership: Assign work, set priorities, remove roadblocks, and coach associates to meet productivity, quality, and safety targets.
Training & onboarding: Train new hires in SOPs, safety, equipment, and systems; maintain up-to-date work instructions and job aids.
Scheduling & Coverage: Build and manage schedules; coordinate time off to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts.
Safety & compliance: Model safe behaviors; enforce OSHA, company, and customer requirements; conduct toolbox talks and incident follow-ups.
Warehouse operations: Oversee receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and space utilization; verify order accuracy before dispatch.
Inventory control: Maintain accurate location information and stock levels; partner on cycle counts and identifying root-cause variances.
Materials & supplies: Monitor and replenish operating supplies; coordinate with leadership on reorder points and cost control.
Continuous improvement: Identify process gaps; recommend and implement changes to drive efficiency (5S/Kaizen mindset).
Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with leadership and customer contacts to align department goals with business needs.
Reporting & KPIs: Track and communicate performance (e.g., safety, fill rate, on-time ship, inventory accuracy).
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent warehouse experience.
3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse/distribution.
Proven ability to motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable.
Clear, professional communication at all levels (written & verbal).
Strong attention to detail and results orientation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with WMS/ERP a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, NetSuite).
Ability to learn technical and product information quickly.
Physical requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, walking, bending; work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Schedule: Reliability with flexibility for extended hours/overtime as needed.
