Job Purpose

Our recruiting efforts involves the recruiter sourcing local candidates through job boards and social media posts as well as traveling to various dental school events and trade shows.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Partner with senior leadership team to recruit for open professional staff (Associate Dentist) positions. This will include identifying recent graduates as well as recruiting and hiring experienced dentists with DSO experience.
  • Identify, schedule, and attend hiring events targeted to reach general dentists and orthodontists
  • Conduct presentations at school events, such as Lunch & Learn programs, to engage potential candidates. Additionally, will participate in recruiting events such as career fairs and meet & greet opportunities at universities.
  • Interview job applicants to obtain and verify information used to screen and evaluate them.
  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Inform job applicants of their acceptance or rejection of employment.
  • Select applicants meeting specified job requirements and refer them to hiring personnel.
  • Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.
  • Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, or employee referrals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications/ Skill Sets

  • Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment and a track record of exceeding hiring targets.
  • Experience recruiting Provider/Doctor level candidates such as Dentist, Physicians, Veterinarians, Specialty Doctors, etc.
  • Ability to use your skills to build trust, overcome objections and close placements that align with Familia’s needs as well as those of the candidate dentist.
  • Capable of serving as a trusted advisor to candidates throughout their recruitment journey.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a mindset to overcome challenges in a competitive field.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working solo or collaboratively.
  • Experience with CRM/ATS tools and recruiting platforms.
  • Knowledge of the following areas helpful, not required:
    • DSO models.
    • Immigration sponsorship process (H1B).
    • Marketing background/experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills allowing you to represent Familia Dental with people outside the organization, including not only prospective doctors but also students and staff at dental schools. This information can be exchanged in person individually and in group presentations as well as in writing or by telephone / e-mail.
  • Must hold a valid Driver's license.
  • Must be able to travel 30% of the year.
Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred but not required. Will consider relevant work experience.
  • 3+ Years of related work experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills including MSOffice, including Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, sitting and/or standing, for extended time [e.g. sitting at a desk, working at a computer, attending a trade show].
  • Ability to travel by automobile, train, or commercial airlines.

Availability / Schedule

  • full time, Monday - Friday
  • Remote with 30% travel annually
