You will extend our UI library of functional components and layouts and collaborate closely with our UX designers and development teams to deliver complex and high performing web-based applications.

We are searching for a front-end engineer who is energetic, resilient and passionate about building front-end UIs using some of the latest 3 rd party frameworks. You will extend our UI library of functional components and layouts and collaborate closely with our UX designers and development teams to deliver complex and high performing web-based applications.
What You'll Do At Pega
- You will become certified in Pega’s technology.
- Begin analyzing and testing the codebase to become accustomed to and understand how our development, test and execution environments work.
- Start componentizing existing features.
- Work with product owners and other stakeholders as an Engineering Owner to design and develop advanced data access facilities in our flagship product.
- Become comfortable working independently and as part of the team.
- Collaborate with a variety of engineering teams including our sister teams in Poland and India.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- The ideal candidate is a software engineer with a good foundation in web front end development and 3 rd party framework (React/Vue/Angular).
- This person is extremely detailed oriented and can demonstrate the ability to understand a creative UX design and convert it to actual implementation code.
- This individual is passionate about design, latest web technologies and standards as well as elegant and easy to maintain code.
- He is conscious about performance, accessibility, usability and takes great pride in delivering the highest quality work.
- The candidate has also strong collaboration skills and can work well with the creative and development teams to build professional looking user interfaces.
- 2+ years of software development experience focused on front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Solid understanding of accessibility, cross-browser issues, and security
- Proficient in implementing responsive and mobile-first user interfaces
- Solid understanding of core computer science principles: algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and design patterns.
