HireArt is helping our client find a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Associate to support its daily logistics and materials management operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, handling, and preparing materials for shipment in compliance with internal procedures and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-minded, and experienced with warehouse systems and equipment.

As a Warehouse And Logistics Associate, You'll

  • Material Handling and Storage:
    • Store, stack, and palletize materials using proper storage methods and safety guidelines.
    • Rearrange storage areas and support inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Regularly inspect stored items and report signs of deterioration or damage.
  • Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics:
    • Assist in packaging, labeling, and routing materials for shipping or storage.
    • Support inbound and outbound logistics activities, including checking and documenting shipments.
    • Identify and report shipment discrepancies, missing items, or damaged goods.
    • Ensure inventory is tracked, tagged, and managed accurately in inventory systems.
  • Equipment Operation:
    • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other material handling tools.
    • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Complete required shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation in compliance with procedures.
    • Respond to warehouse lead or supervisor requests and support logistics planning as needed.
  • Other Duties:
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations.
    • Perform other logistics and warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling roles
  • Basic knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and inventory management
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with handheld scanners, ERP, or warehouse management systems
  • A valid forklift certification is a plus, but not required. The company offers on-the-job assistance to obtain certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a regulated, contract-based, or high-volume logistics environment
  • Prior training in warehouse safety standards (OSHA or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of documentation tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or inventory platforms

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates local to the Austin, TX area.
