Job Overview

DYAS Construction Management is seeking an accomplished Regional Construction Project Executive to oversee and grow operations across the Great Lakes Region. This senior leadership role is pivotal in managing high-value construction and decommissioning projects, strengthening client relationships, and driving regional business development. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a deep understanding of large-scale project delivery, financial management, and executive-level decision-making.

As the Regional Project Executive, you will provide oversight to multiple projects, mentor regional teams, and represent DYAS with clients, partners, and community stakeholders. This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget-while upholding the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level oversight of multiple commercial and industrial projects within the Great Lakes Region.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; serve as the primary point of escalation and executive contact.
  • Lead business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and cultivating strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all regional projects.
  • Oversee and monitor project budgets, schedules, financial performance, and profitability.
  • Mentor and develop project managers, engineers, and other regional staff.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven reporting to senior leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Represent DYAS at client meetings, community events, and industry associations to strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 12-15+ years of construction/project management experience, including 5+ years in executive or regional leadership roles.
  • Proven success managing large-scale, complex projects and overseeing multi-state operations.
  • Strong business development background with excellent client-relations skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and financial management abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management and financial tracking software.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively throughout the Great Lakes Region for project oversight and client engagement.

Schedule

  • Full-Time - Monday through Friday
  • Hybrid role with both remote flexibility and extensive on-site presence required across regional projects.

Location

  • Great Lakes Region - overseeing projects in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Minnesota.
  • Frequent travel to regional worksites and client locations; company support provided for travel and accommodations.
