What You Will Do
The Escrow Manager is primarily responsible for completing all tasks and responsibilities associated with managing the day to day operations of the title company escrow operations and to effectively manage the real estate closing transaction for insuring title insurance, in accordance with state regulations, established company policies and procedures and underwriter guidelines. Incumbent must have extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations governing title operations. Manages, plans, directs, and oversees daily escrow operational tasks of the title company. Ensures guaranty file processes, procedures, and workflows comply established title company policies and procedures and in accordance with state/federal regulations. Assists VP -- Title Operations in audits by the Department of Insurance and title underwriter review. Oversees and monitors the accurate and timely balancing of all title company escrow accounts. Responsible for the daily management of Title Company escrow staff. Responsible for achieving production, efficiency and quality goals in support of title company targets. Actively engaged in preparation of title company production and forecasts for senior title company management review and approval. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
What We Require
High school diploma or equivalent. Actively hold Escrow License for at least five (5) years. Complete the required Continuing Education to maintain licensure. Minimum of five (5) years of title operations and production experience. Minimum of five (5) years of management experience. Motivation skills to lead a team of high producing title operations staff to attain established production and quality goals. Comprehensive knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing title operations. Technical proficiency with a high-level knowledge of computer systems including title production software, and Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of diplomacy in directing staff and client service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
Bachelor degree, in business management, finance, or business administration or equivalent education and/or experience. Thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, state and NCUA regulations. Demonstrated critical thinking skills and sound judgment in solving routine and non-routine issues.
