Job Purpose

The Combine Vehicle Engineering team is responsible for driving product quality and reliability improvements across CNH’s combine harvester product line. By focusing on innovative design, validation, and cross-functional collaboration, the team ensures that combines meet customer expectations for durability, safety, and performance.

As an Engineering Intern – Combine Vehicle Team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting key initiatives that improve the reliability and quality of combine harvesters while working directly with engineers on design, validation, and problem-solving projects.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Developing designs, layouts, and drawings for new or improved product elements in alignment with project plans and product line objectives
  • Applying appropriate engineering techniques and considering manufacturing processes, safety, and environmental standards to deliver cost-effective and innovative designs
  • Identifying and gathering information required to perform engineering calculations and resolve design challenges
  • Supporting validation and reliability initiatives by performing routine data analysis and contributing to project objectives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex problems and assisting in the development of solutions
  • Communicating issues, concepts, and recommendations clearly to team members and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechnical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
