Intern Program Overview

Job Purpose

The AI Engineering team is focused on developing cutting-edge artificial intelligence models to support autonomous vehicle applications. By exploring next-generation AI approaches and optimizing models for deployment in real-world environments, the team plays a key role in advancing CNH’s innovation in autonomy and smart machinery.

As an AI Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in applied AI research and development, working on projects that bridge foundational models and edge deployment for autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting in the identification and evaluation of next-generation AI models for autonomous vehicle use cases
  • Supporting research and experimentation with knowledge distillation techniques to adapt large foundational models into efficient edge models
  • Collaborating with AI engineers to assess model performance, efficiency, and scalability for deployment in autonomous equipment
  • Contributing to discussions on best practices, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities in AI for autonomy

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in AI, Data Science, or a related field.
