This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership position for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys leading teams in the field. As our Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple active job sites, coordinate with crews and subcontractors, and serve as the key contact for clients during construction. You'll ensure projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with our high quality and safety standards.

This is not a desk-bound PM role. You'll have authority to make decisions in the field, solve problems proactively, and represent Toledo Pole Barns with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site project execution from planning to completion
  • Supervise crews and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and change orders
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and client walkthroughs
  • Monitor job progress, safety practices, and material usage
  • Interpret construction drawings, specs, and codes
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and project documentation
  • Communicate updates to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proactively solve on-site issues with a focus on efficiency and accountability

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction (as a PM, foreman, or superintendent)
  • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, codes, safety standards, and budgeting
  • Experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software (preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills
  • OSHA 30 certification desirable but not essential
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs, navigate job sites, and work in varied weather conditions
