What you'll do:
- Manage renovation projects from initiation to completion, including scope definition, planning, execution, and close-out
- Serve as a project manager between Team Members, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Vendors working on the remarkets for the community
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards
- Track costs that are covered by the organization separately from prepaid options/upgrades (PPO) that are the resident's responsibility
- Collaborate with the Operations Team and Sales & Marketing, specifically the Move-in Coordinator, to understand resident selections and complete residences for occupancy
- Communicate assignments and major tasks to contractors and other departments. Ensure contractors have completed the contractual paperwork and possess the required licensure and insurance.
- Track remarketing expenses and ensure projects comply with budgets, time to readiness, and other key metrics as determined by the VP of Facilities and Construction
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
- A two-year degree in construction science, or five or more years of related work experience is required
- Must have, at a minimum, 3-5 years' previous experience in managing renovations
- Must have a general skills or understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, or other maintenance areas
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
