As a Transportation Assistant Manager, you are responsible for implementing workflow procedures based on direction from the Transportation Manager.
Your duties include supervising transportation employees during day-to-day tasks, providing customer support in escalated situations, and helping manage the overall workflow of the transportation department. Qualifications

- Confident, proactive, and willing to take on workplace challenges.
- Great listening skills and being able to take direction from individuals in higher-level positions.
- The ability to motivate others is required
Duties and Responsibilities:
These include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule and coordinate meetings.
- Conduct employee performance reviews.
- Develop good customer relationships.
- Participate in recruitment and dismissal processes.
- Smooth out problems within the workplace.
- Address employee and customer concerns.
- Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement.
- Email and phone correspondence.
- Liaise between managers, customer,s and employees.
- Provide direction to staff.
- Monitor spending patterns and budget.
- Fill in for the Transportation Manager in times of absence. Make executive decisions, hold meetings, and provide accountability.
- Troubleshootthe POS system.
- Support ongoing learning and development of team members.
- Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment. Proficiency in the following language is highly encouraged: Spanish
