Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/ Bookkeeper to support our daily financial and administrative operations. This part-time role (starting at 25 hours per week) offers flexibility, a supportive team environment, and room for growth. You’ll play a key role in managing customer invoicing, financial tracking, and general office support—all while working closely with ownership and our accounting team . If you have experience in finance, are comfortable working with QuickBooks, and enjoy a collaborative work environment, we want to hear from you!
This is a part-time position with potential for additional hours (starting at 25 hours a week). Competitive pay based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer invoicing and accounts receivable
- Perform accurate data entry and bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Track purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Contact customers to collect outstanding balances professionally and effectively
- Assist in processing payroll and monthly retirement contributions
- Answer phones and respond to customer emails in a friendly, helpful manner
- Provide administrative support to management and ownership
- Help maintain an organized, efficient office environment
- After training, assist in diagnosing common garage door issues over the phone and create accurate service tickets
- Prior experience with accounts receivable
- Experience with QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping functions
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits and credits)
- Understands basic accounting (debits vs credits)
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills (phone and in-person)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Gmail, and general computer use
- Some HR experience is a plus
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Willingness to learn about garage door systems and services
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- 1+ year of QuickBooks experience
- Some HR experience is a plus
- In-person at our Tucson office
