PositionOverview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staffing & SchedulingCoordinator to manage staff scheduling, optimize workforce allocation, andensure that scheduling and staffing needs are met across our 3 licensedcommunities in Jacksonville. The ideal candidate will possess excellentorganizational skills, the ability to multitask, and strong communicationabilities to facilitate smooth coordination between departments and personnel.
KeyResponsibilities
StaffingCoordination:- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs, jobrequirements, and labor demand fluctuations.- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process to fill staffing gapseffectively.- Maintain an updated roster of staff qualifications, availability, andcertifications.
SchedulingManagement:- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shiftsand operations.- Adjust schedules as necessary, considering employee availability, leaverequests, and unforeseen changes.- Handle time-off requests and absences, ensuring compliance with companypolicies and labor regulations.
Communication:- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff regarding schedulinginquiries, changes, and conflicts.- Provide timely notifications of schedule changes and updates to all relevantpersonnel.- Facilitate regular communication with management and staff regarding staffingneeds and availability.
DatabaseManagement:- Maintain and update scheduling software and personnel databases to ensureaccuracy and accessibility of information.- Prepare and analyze reports related to labor utilization, overtime, andscheduling efficiency.
Compliance& Best Practices:- Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations inall staffing and scheduling practices.- Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operatingprocedures for staffing and scheduling processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a relatedfield preferred.- Previous experience in staffing, scheduling, or human resources is required(2-3 years preferred).- Proficient in using scheduling software; experience with Timeco & Covrsystems is a plus.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and managetime effectively.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positiverelationships across departments & sister communities.- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
