We’re looking for energetic professionals who have successfully delivered on goals while maintaining the highest customer satisfaction. The Used Car Manager assumes responsibility for appraising, purchasing, reconditioning, displaying and merchandising the used vehicle inventory.

Employees in this position will be paid a base salary, plus commissions. Commission amounts vary based on performance, but the expected average annual earning in this position are $140,000 to $239,000.

Responsibilities Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Appraises customer trade-ins during a deal for maximum dealership profitability.
Attends weekly auctions to purchase Used Vehicles for Dealership profitability.
Ensuring used vehicles are reconditioned to Dealership standards to be merchandised into inventory.
Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
Promoting an understanding of, and strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Leading, directing, and motivating staff to achieve or exceed individual and group performance goals and objectives; resolving differences and sustaining a harmonious workplace environment.
Fostering cohesive interdepartmental and factory relationships that contribute to overall dealership goals and objectives.
Continually monitoring practices for compliance with all policies; procedures; and applicable legal requirements; responding promptly to noncompliance
Recruiting, employing, developing, maintaining, and effectively scheduling a trained and productive staff capable of achieving or exceeding sales, profit and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
Establishes monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit.
Attends managers meetings as requested.
Qualifications
Experience in Sales & Leadership Qualities.
Competency in establishing client financing & ability to motivate and train an effective sales team.
Proficient in operating systems conducive to sales and finance.
Appears for work on time, dressed professionally, appropriately,ready to work and interacts effectively with co-workers.
Understands and follows posted work rules and procedures and all company policies.
2-4 year college degree in Business or related field (preferred)
Valid CA Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record Required
