About the Role:
The Talent Solutions Manager is a critical role within the Broader Studio HR team. Acting as a partner and strategist, we partner heavily with HR Business partners, other functions with HR as well as business leaders. The focus of this role is to support creating a performance culture, help build and drive all aspects of talent intelligence and support/lead any broader talent initiatives
You will act as a consultant to the business and builds and executes solutions that align with the Studio’s unique business needs, culture, and objectives. You should possess strong business acumen as well as experience in but not limited to succession planning, talent development, performance management, culture and retention work, and change management.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $124,900.00 to $152,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

You will act as a consultant to the business and builds and executes solutions that align with the Studio’s unique business needs, culture, and objectives. You should possess strong business acumen as well as experience in but not limited to succession planning, talent development, performance management, culture and retention work, and change management.
What You Will Do:
- Build, manage and continuously improve solutions that attract, develop and retain key talent in collaboration with TWDC and Studio HR partners, inclusive of approaches such as:
- Creating the framework for the HR team to identify of high-performing, high-potential talent to provide focused for development and retention efforts
- Facilitation of assessments to prepare development plans for key talent
- Consult and support onboarding and retention best practices to better enable business leaders and HR partners
- Build in partnership with LTS Director and execute on development Experiences for high-performing leaders
- Manage and continuously improve the Studio’s performance and talent / succession planning processes, including sustainment of and new initiatives to support quality conversations and a culture of career discussions and feedback
- Consult with HRBPs to develop talent solutions focused on current and forecasted Line of Business needs, influencing and managing across a set of diverse and complex businesses
- Manage data and technology systems associated with talent planning & prioritization
- Equip HRBPs with relevant tools / resources to integrate talent priorities into their day-to-day work
- Partner with Diversity & Inclusion to integrate inclusion priorities into Studio and Line of Business talent strategies, practices and planning
- Collaborate with TWDC Talent Solutions to implement enterprise-wide talent strategies in alignment with Studio priorities
- Partner with full Learning & Talent Solutions team to design and facilitate development programs in support of talent priorities.
- 5 or more years of experience in human resources, talent management, diversity and inclusion, organization development or equivalent field/experience
- Prior experience developing and implementing large-scale / business unit-wide talent/HR initiatives
- Prior experience facilitating development sessions
- Proven experience partnering/leading cross-functional (HRBP, Learning, OD, Diversity, Compensation, etc.) teams to design integrated talent management or HR strategies
- Knowledge and experience in using data and analytics to tell stories and influence leaders to act and drive change
- Prior experience consulting and building community/best practice sharing across multi-faceted businesses
- Thinks strategically, synthesizes complex data and develops innovative solutions
- Understands industry standards, best practices, and trends related to talent management, and aligns approaches to work with Studio / Line of Business needs, cultures, and objectives
- Skilled in working with and influencing leaders across a variety of disciplines
- Manages complex projects that cut across multiple business units including (but not limited to):
- Performance management
- Talent and succession planning
- High-potential talent development programs
- Organizes and facilitates high performing project teams (non-direct reports) to succeed in a collaborative and fast paced environment
- Models’ excellent judgment and demonstrate the courage to take smart risks to achieve innovative approaches to work
- Embraces teamwork and builds interpersonal relationships with clients and colleagues
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent field/experience
- Coaching certification preferred
