Your Role

As an integral part of our office operations, you will play a crucial role in patient collections and claims management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to completing billing-related activities accurately, on time, and with exceptional customer service.

What you'll do:

  • Contact patients to collect outstanding balances, explain payment options, and answer any billing-related questions.
  • Prepare statements for billing purposes.
  • Process and complete patients' postings.
  • Confirm and mail reimbursement checks to clients.
  • Collaborate with other members of the billing team.
  • Collect, process, and allocate funds.
  • Update and maintain patient accounts.
  • Work closely with insurance claims specialists to ensure accuracy and completeness.

About You

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in billing or a related field is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative and clerical operations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and ability to quickly learn software applications.
