As a Sales Representative for UnitedHealthcare Student Resources, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of our student health insurance offerings to schools that do not currently have a student health insurance plan. Your primary focus will be on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and presenting the benefits of our insurance plans to key decision-makers within educational institutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to the well-being of students by ensuring access to comprehensive and affordable healthcare coverage.
Domestic Travel required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Researching and identifying Prospects who don't have a SHIP
- Conduct cold calls, email campaigns, and in person visits
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations highlighting UHCSR's products and services
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to engage schools, build relationships
- Negotiate terms, pricing and contract details
Required Qualifications
- Insurance license as required by law or willing to obtain
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools
- Proven track record of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in the insurance or healthcare sector
- Proven solid oral and written communication skills, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to establish rapport and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proven self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven attitude
- Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel as required to visit schools within the assigned territory
- Understanding of student health insurance and the education sector
- All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy
