We are currently seeking an Engineering Interns to support projects across our Transportation, Land Development, and Architecture & Engineering business lines. This is a paid internship opportunity in one of our locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Florida or Baltimore.

What You’ll Do:

Key Responsibilities:
Depending on your background and assignment, you may:
- Assist with roadway, bridge, and traffic design projects.
- Support land/site civil development including stormwater management, grading, water/wastewater systems, and permitting.
- Contribute to architectural and engineering projects involving municipal, federal, and private sector clients.
- Prepare calculations, reports, design documents, and construction details/specifications.
- Use computer-assisted engineering tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, etc.) to support project design tasks.
- Collect, organize, and prepare data for engineering evaluation.
- Assist in construction observation, documentation, and compliance with specifications.
- Provide general project support including drafting, computations, and quality review/proofing.
- Students pursuing a BS degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- Eagerness to learn multidisciplinary engineering with exposure to transportation, land/site, and A&E projects.
- Knowledge of systems and software to include AutoCAD, ArcGIS, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), MicroStation, InRoads, KYPipe, SWMM, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, EPANET, WaterCAD, and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
