Key Responsibilities:
Email & Account Management
- Manage email accounts, passwords, contacts and spam filtering services for new, current, and departing users
- Assist in the setup, troubleshooting, and repair of workstations, laptops, iPads and cell phones
- Provide assessment for replacement parts (e.g., hard drives, RAM) and troubleshoot hardware issues
- Assist with the setup of printers, plotters and other peripherals
- Address IT support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved promptly or elevated to the appropriate level
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding work tickets
- Serve as the in-house point of contact for IT-related questions and troubleshooting
- Monitor server space, manage housekeeping items, and maintain network and system health
- Assist with network-related tasks, including server maintenance, patching, and system upgrades
- Provide support for DUO multi-factor authentication and Ubiquiti WiFi infrastructures
- Support network switching concepts, including the use of VLANs to differentiate corporate, guest and VoIP virtual network segments on the same physical network
- Knowledge of Exchange Server and Microsoft 365 to ensure seamless integration with the Active Directory network
- Keep up with system and software updates, including critical database related applications
- Assist in implementing IT security policies and practices to ensure data integrity and security compliance as well as fundamental IT ethics
- Coordinate with multiple departments for specific IT-related needs
- Assist with video/virtual conference setup for company meetings and business events
- Maintain the company website, social media platforms, and VOIP systems as needed
Experience
- Experience with Windows Server 2019 or higher administration
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server 2019
- Experience managing Windows 10/11 workstations and deploying devices within a networked environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and integration with Active Directory
- Familiarity with basic networking principles (TCP/IP Routing)
- Experience supporting iPhone and Android devices in a Microsoft environment
- Familiarity with DUO multi-factor authentication and Ubiquiti WiFi infrastructures
- Knowledge of VLANs for differentiating corporate, guest, and VoIP network segments
- Knowledge of RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) products
- Knowledge of server backup using ArcServe ShadowProtect, ImageManager, Veeam software
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues efficiently
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users
- Basic understanding of IT security protocols and best practices
- Knowledge of or experience with VOIP systems and video conferencing tools
- Experience with Office 365 administration, including Teams and SharePoint
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision
- Detail-Oriented: Focused on delivering high-quality results while maintaining accuracy in all tasks
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and support other departments as needed
