Agent Support Specialist

Short’s Travel Management, a leading provider of NCAA Athletic travel for collegiate athletics, has a immediate opening for an Agent Support Specialist with it’s Sports travel department. What You Will Do In This Role

The agent support specialist will primarily generate quote comparisons from the airlines for group travel. This position will methodically organize and manage group travel quotes, prioritizing by need, travel date, and airline, and will help to identify and refine the most efficient methods for this process. Outside of sourcing and quoting responsibilities, this position will manage trips for lower volume clientele, assist agents with contracting, invoicing & ticketing, processing refunds, obtaining vendor receipts, and other duties as assigned. This position will support the company in other capacities, based on department needs. The candidate placed in this position will have the ability to function autonomously and in a team environment.

• Willingness to pursue learning opportunities to enhance GDS and sourcing process knowledge.
• We are a team at Short’s Travel Management and as such, you may be expected to assist in other departments or handle tasks outside of your typical position scope for the benefit of our clients or company.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience in sourcing processes preferred.
• Group travel experience is a plus.
• Apollo/Smartpoint is a plus.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office skills preferred (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
