The Boeing Company’s Production System Training (PST) organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Employee Development Specialist to join their group in Everett, WA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical assembly who has a passion for training the next generation of skilled workers. This position supports our internal Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) curriculum which provides wire harnesses, family group assemblies, power panels, and electrical shelf assemblies to Boeing 737, 747, 767 and 777 commercial jetliners as well as our military derivatives P8 and 767 Tanker.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ability to apply knowledge of instructional skills (e.g. preparation, delivery, summary, assess student progress, remediation, motivation, engagement, etc.)
  • Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the content.
  • Identifies business specific learning objectives and adapts curriculum content and delivery methods
  • Identifies potential issues that impact performance and recommends development of improvement recommendations
  • Able to assess requirements and schedule courses and instructors
  • Analyze, validate, optimize and coordinate training requests for new hire, recall, and transfer employees
  • Be able to support off-shift as necessary
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Experience with giving presentations and public speaking
  • 1+ years of experience using reporting tools
  • 3+ years of experience with electrical assembly and/or electronic materials
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience teaching a technical subject matter in an adult learning environment
  • Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) process knowledge
  • Strong experience with Electrical systems (re: fabrication, installations, testing, troubleshooting)
  • Strong experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) and Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Experience with operating/navigating: Wireshop Homepage, BAC specifications (D6-36911), Standard Work Instructor (SWI), Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), Redars
  • Experience with designing/developing course content and instructional materials
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using My Learning or other Learning Management Systems
  • Experience organizing, prioritizing and paying attention to detail while ensuring accuracy


Pay Rate Range
