The Software Engineering Manager will also lead a team of developers, analysts and testers.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to a team of solution delivery associates.
- Manage projects, coordinate product development activities and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate the status of projects to customers and other leaders through status reports and meetings.
- Ensure projects are staffed effectively and follow the appropriate development lifecycles.
- Oversee projects from inception to implementation and ensure stable, defect-free releases.
- Provide recommendations to management on software and product development.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems.
- Experience leading a solution delivery team.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture, best coding practices and software design principles and patterns.
