The Program Director is responsible for all oversight of all Administrative/Office Management, Clinical/Therapeutic Services, Case Management, Licensing and Accreditation Compliance, Insurance/Billing, and operational assignments. Monitors the activities of all operating components to ensure the practice successfully meets its objectives.

Summary

  • Assists the Executive Director in the strategic planning process and the development of strategic business plans.
  • Function as liaison between facility and other outside providers and vendors providing service including physicians, interventionists, attorneys, consultants, therapists, insurance billing, and others.
  • Develops a culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability and performance with a shared vision for the future.
  • Directs and implements the facility's mission and strategic plan to achieve its strategic and financial goals.
  • Develops and updates organizational design, management, and processes for maximum productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensures facility compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies.
  • Represents the facility in its relationships with other health organizations, government agencies, and third-party payers.
  • Serves as liaison and channel of communication between the board and its committees, the medical, clinical and administrative staff.
  • Provides visible and approachable leadership enhancing working relationships among the staff and physicians.
  • Continually monitors operations, programs, physical properties that it follows licensing and accreditation as well as business ethical standards and Coordinates Delegates appropriate changes to director team member's departments.
  • Continually monitors clinical care including the delivery of individual therapy and specialty services, group therapy, and clinical assessments.
  • Audits all clinical files in the electronic medical record, KIPU
  • Continually monitors administrative/office management including scheduling, HR, Medication, utilization review, and medical records.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance market share and financial position through development of partnerships, affiliations, and growth strategies.
  • Mentors staff and provides opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education, Training, And Experience Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred; or
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in behavioral health care including two (2) years of experience in a supervisory position.
  • Certified or Licensed as an AODS Counselor or LMFT, LPCC, or its equivalent. Education can be substituted for experience.
  • Attainment of at least 18 years of age
  • A Health Screening with negative TB Test Results
  • Current CPR/ First Aid certification.
  • D.L. or Government I.D.
  • Good understanding of general business procedures, including sales and marketing, operations, financial, and clinical
  • Good writing skills required for presentation and preparation of accurate oral and well written summaries.
  • Ability to produce effective and clear communication, both written and verbal
  • Minimum three years of administrative experience, including one year of management experience in health care, preferred.
  • Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
  • Completes annual education requirements.
  • Maintains regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality always.
  • Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time.
  • Completes in-services and returns in a timely fashion.
  • Attends annual review and department in-services, as scheduled.
  • Attends at least 8 staff meetings annually, reads and returns all monthly staff meeting minutes.
  • Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
  • Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
  • Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the program.
