will provide support to the Legal and Compliance Departments in a variety of roles and tasks.

Your role and impact

Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities and the meaningful impact you'll create as the Legal Administrator:

  • Providing direct assistance to attorneys in the handling of correspondence and complaints, including gathering documents, finalizing and transmitting responses, corresponding with state insurance departments, uploading information into the Company's record storage systems, drafting summaries, maintaining complaint logs, and providing periodic reports as needed to others within the company.
  • Reviewing legal documents submitted to our company, including powers of attorney, bankruptcy filings and garnishments, and communicate with internal constituents regarding the same.
  • Assisting with the management of third-party vendors and law firms by obtaining approval for submitted invoices, coding and submitting invoices for payment, responding to internal company surveys and requests for information about vendors and their utilization, and tracking spending on such law firms and vendors as they relate to particular matters.
  • Assisting with litigation management by providing support for discovery related requests, compiling information about open litigation matters and preparing periodic litigation reports.
  • Providing administrative support to the Corporate Compliance in a variety of compliance related tasks, including mailing of compliance questionnaires, compiling information, and conducting the necessary follow-ups as may be required.
  • Assisting with the administration of the company's various compliance programs, including the company's AML program.
  • Providing administrative support to the Legal Department in a variety of tasks, such as handling telephone inquiries, mailing letters, sending agreements for signature, copying, opening, and identifying mail, scheduling meetings, and assisting with the preparation and submission of expense reports.

What Sets You Up For Success

  • Experience working in a law firm or corporate law department environment
