Job Description

Provide quality oversight throughout the system development lifecycle by reviewing deliverables and coordinating SME assessments. Independently validate outputs, identify gaps, and document compliance findings. Support our client's IT standards by guiding project teams under tight deadlines to achieve critical objectives. Champion and promote project-level quality assurance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES

  • Establish and uphold quality standards across projects by independently evaluating deliverables and enforcing quality checkpoints.
  • Clearly communicate findings through both written reports and verbal presentations.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to project teams based on quality assessments.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise-wide requirements catalog and test suite.
  • Execute test suites for scheduled monthly software releases.
  • Integrate project-specific test plans and scripts into the centralized test library.
  • Collaborate with project teams and Application Services to manage deployment activities, including training, disaster recovery planning, and release documentation.
  • Evaluate project readiness for certification and production deployment.
  • Confirm successful releases in production environments.
  • Create and maintain installation and deployment scripts for various systems and applications.
  • Support the release process by preparing release notes and performing other related tasks.
  • Continuously improve departmental tools and resources by leveraging personal experience and sound judgment.


“must Have” Specific Knowledge And Skills

  • 3–5 years of relevant QA experience.
  • Strong expertise in test planning and execution.
  • Proficient in requirements definition and management.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide recommendations.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with both automated and manual regression testing tools and processes.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
  • Experience in mobile application (iOS & Android) testing, with tools such as Appium core Java and Charles Proxy (highly preferred).
  • Experience with API and Functional testing.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Client-focused, with project teams as primary stakeholders.
  • Ability to advocate for quality standards and negotiate compliance with project teams.
  • Good to have experience location services testing.
  • Good to have experience within the Retail domain
  • Note: This is a full onsite role, 5 days a week in Irving, TX.


Rate: $50/hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week. Contract duration is 6 months with possible extensions. This position currently does not offer any benefits.
