Bh Receptionist Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Position requires prolonged sitting at a computer, some bending, lifting, stooping and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, photocopy machine, telephone, and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight.

Bh Receptionist Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Greets and directs patients and visitors.
- Schedules appointments
- Checks patient eligibility for Mental Health Services
- Answers phone calls and emails.
- Schedules Department meetings
- Checks in patients, verifying and updating necessary information in the medical record
- Receives, records, and distributes packages and mail.
- Copies, collates, and otherwise prepares reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence.
- Attend meetings, as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Respects the confidentiality of the health records of patients and adheres to HIPAA regulations
BH RECEPTIONIST EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate.
- 1 year of office experience; experience in health care setting preferred, but not required
- Experience and knowledge of online systems
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish or Armenian

- Demonstrates ability to work in a regulatory climate that includes oversight of state and federal entities, payer contracts etc.
- Possesses ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Possesses genuine respect for others and acceptance of their individual social and cultural traits.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
- Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
