ROLE AND PURPOSE: The Campus Testing Facilitator will coordinate all aspects of state and locally-determined testing, including training and administration.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution
  • Valid Texas Teacher Certification preferred

Experience

  • Three years teaching experience
  • Successful experience in a testing environment

Major Responsibilities And Duties

I. INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT

  • Provide campus wide leadership in state and locally-determined testing
  • Plan for and conduct training sessions for test administrators, monitors, principals, and technology staff
  • Work with staff to analyze campus testing data through multiple forms of media, including visual aids and technology tools.

II. SCHOOL/ORGANIZATION CLIMATE

  • Positive interpersonal and communication skills

III. SCHOOL/ORGANIZATIONAL IMPROVEMENT

  • Perform campus improvement duties as designated by campus principal.

IV. ADMINISTRATION AND FISCAL/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

  • Adhere to all state and district guidelines related to testing
  • Prepare and complete paper & online test administrations, including the management of scorable and non scorable test materials
  • Facilitate paper and online testing to ensure proper administration
  • Maintain test materials and required documentation
  • Prepare and administer summer testing

V. STUDENT MANAGEMENT

  • Support campus personnel in proper identification of students based on data collected from testing results after all major testing functions are completed.

VI. SCHOOL/COMMUNITY RELATIONS

  • Prepare and deliver testing results to staff and community.

VII. PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Gain strong working knowledge of the Texas Assessment Management System & local data management system
  • Prepare for and attend campus coordinator training

Viii. Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all state and locally-determined testing on the campus.
  • Ensure campus compliance with testing regulations.

IX. MISCELLANEOUS

  • Demonstrated efficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
  • Strong organizational and work prioritization skills
  • Ability to work with and analyze data within the district management systems
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds
  • Occasional prolonged and irregular hours, which may include differentiated daily schedules
