Job Description

What You Get To Do:

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator. This position coordinates unique projects with external partners such as Sales Rep Agencies, Key Customers, and Specifiers (Specifiers are defined as Lighting Designers, Architects, Engineers, and professional level Interior Designers) ensuring successful completion of orders and customer satisfaction.

The Project Coordinator analyzes customer needs and facilitates activities internally with various departments including Engineering, OMS, Quotes, Production, and Distribution along with specific details from Regional Sales Managers to orchestrate how orders are received through the final process of shipping the order to various customers.

This position is responsible for proactively managing customer projects, and ensuring the quotes are correctly created and fulfilled, and the order is shipped to specification. The Project Coordinator must use their professional discretion to offer discounts, prioritize orders as needed for Production and/or Distribution, act as an educational resource on all Elemental LED products (Diode LED and Lucetta), and ensure that the technical aspects and design aesthetics match the customers’ needs. If the Project Coordinator determines that the customer’s order does not meet the customer’s actual needs, the Project Coordinator must analyze customer requirements, propose different solutions, and help customers make decisions. The Project Coordinator holds various departments accountable for completing a project in any given order.

This position requires a consultative, solution-oriented approach and collaboration with other departments and team members to ensure smooth operations and order processing are attained and that errors are limited. The Project Coordinator also can exercise discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of significance with the following duties and responsibilities. This position is requires you to work 100% in the office.

The salary for this position is $60,000/annually + Bonus.

Challenge Yourself – The Specifics:

  • Prioritizes workload for sales support staff and delegates work as appropriate while ensuring internal accountability
  • Collaborates with Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers to ensure that sufficient support is provided for all potential and actual opportunities
  • Manages interactions with Key Customers and Specifiers
  • Oversees lead qualification of inbound leads received through various channels, including company website, customer service, CRM system, purchased lists, marketing, and social media channels
  • Partners effectively with others on accounts to ensure coordinated and efficient account management
  • Identifies and allocates internal and external resources
  • Tracks Custom Quotes, and conversion to sales metrics
  • Manages Sales Rep Agency inquiries, quotes and process orders, order confirmations, and support in conjunction with the OMS, CS, and Quotes teams
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a technical/solutions-focused customer service or sales setting or an equivalent combination of experience and training is typically required
  • Ability to educate customers by phone and email on the proper usage of products
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve unique situations by phone and email utilizing pictures, videos, and architectural documents
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to ask and anticipate thoughtful questions to provide the correct solutions to the customer’s specific needs
  • Knowledge of lighting industry standard verbiage
