We are seeking a proactive, technically versatile, and highly communicative Application Engineer to join our team. This pivotal role serves as a critical bridge between our customers, the market, and our internal R&D teams. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in the battery industry, combined with hands-on, technician-level problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for providing exceptional on-site and remote technical support to our clients, while also conducting in-depth market and competitive analysis. Your insights will be instrumental in providing valuable feedback to our product and R&D departments to drive new product development and enhance existing offerings.

Your insights will be instrumental in providing valuable feedback to our product and R&D departments to drive new product development and enhance existing offerings.
Responsibilities Include
- Serve as a technical expert on our products, providing customers with installation, commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting services.
- Respond to and resolve customer technical inquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical training sessions to help customers effectively understand and utilize our products and solutions.
- Manage and document customer support cases, summarizing issues and driving internal teams toward resolutions.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for system integration, on-site diagnostics, and repairs, demonstrating strong hands-on capabilities.
- Closely monitor industry dynamics and emerging technology trends, systematically gathering and analyzing market intelligence.
- Perform deep-dive technical analysis and evaluation of key competitors' products, including performance, features, pricing, and market strategies.
- Author comprehensive competitive analysis reports to provide data-driven support for our product positioning, market strategy, and sales initiatives.
- Identify latent customer needs and pain points through daily interactions, providing firsthand insights for product iteration.
- Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, and Sales teams to translate customer requirements and market analysis into concrete product feature specifications.
- Participate in the definition, design, and validation phases of new products, offering expert advice from an application and customer perspective.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, user manuals, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electric-drive Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Familiarity with battery applications in one or more of the following sectors is a significant advantage: Automotive, Marine, UAV, or Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
- Experience with Lead acid, Li-ion Battery and Energy storage systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute deliverables in an occasionally high-pressure environment.
