Position Overview
The Graphic Designer is responsible for managing, creating, and maintaining visual style and overall layout of direct mail campaign collateral for HomeServe’s utility Partners. Under the supervision of the Creative Services Manager, this role interacts directly with cross-functional departments within Marketing. Superior attention to detail, strong production skills, knowledge of print production and best practices for digital and print file set-up are keys to the success of this position. Requests include edits and management of electronic files for DM campaigns including outer envelopes, BREs, letters, brochures, as well as presentations, proposals, logos, and pamphlets turnaround quickly and within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and proof a high volume of digital InDesign files for direct mail and digital design while maintaining above-average accuracy and digital file integrity.
- Expert level skills using the layers pallet in InDesign to build complex, print-ready files.
- Ability to manage and maintain specific guidelines and style/brand standards for multiple Partners, including, marketing, creative and Partner-specific guidelines.
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, production, proofreading and campaign management to ensure delivery of campaign assets under tight deadlines.
- Respond quickly to requests with a proven ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple, concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload; ensure critical path dates and objectives are met for multiple requests, proof and edit own work, troubleshoot throughout the production process to ensure successful upload of production-ready files.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Digital Design or related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in production or graphic design.
- Advanced-level skills using Adobe Creative Cloud software, (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro) software applications.
- Proficiency working in a digital workflow environment using Acrobat Pro to read and translate marked-up PDF files that include proofreading and copy-editing direction from members of marketing and production teams.
- Experience using project management software, specifically Workfront, Asana, Slack and Jira.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Thorough understanding printing processes plus knowledge of lasering for direct mail components. Knowledge of HTML/email design a plus.
- Team-player who is energized by a fast-paced environment and values helping other team members achieve collective department objectives.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to adhere to a variety of production and design SOPs.
