Description
Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for an AV/Infrastructure IS/IT Specialist to support the JS JTSD Joint Training DevSecOps pipeline core infrastructure and data center in Suffolk, VA. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT).
This role is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities
- Primary role: Subject matter expert in the installation environment in the Audio-Visual field.
- Maintain and manage the Audio Visual (AV) architecture on NIPR and SIPR networks, firmware upgrades, event support requirements, off-site location support.
- Provide additional technical support necessary when needed.
- Additional support to include conference room build out / maintenance, routine cable maintenance, and equipment inventory.
- Prioritize end user trouble tickets, assist with problem as they arise and point direct users to the appropriate department/office for action.
- Provide day-to-day support in for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and A/V conference rooms.
Clearance Level
- Secret (TS desired)
One Of The Following
- Security+ CE
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
- System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- Minimum of five (5) years of operational experience in the Audio-Visual field
- 5+ years' experience requiring the following:
- Government customer support
- A position that requires ensuring positive customer relationship
- Independence in problem solving and analytical skills
- Time management, accountability and relationship skills
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Active Microsoft Operating System Certification (e.g. Windows 10) OR one (1) AV/VTC certification
- Knowledge in Extron A/V equipment
