We’re expanding and looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Client Advisory Services team. If you thrive in a structured environment, enjoy working with small businesses, and love keeping numbers clean and accurate, this is for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for multiple client accounts.
  • Record and categorize daily transactions (sales, expenses, payroll, etc.) in QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare month-end close deliverables, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Manage payroll processing for clients, including data entry, payroll runs, and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Process payroll tax filings and payments on behalf of clients (quarterly and annually).
  • Track employee time, PTO, and benefits where applicable.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking.
  • Collaborate with CAS team and senior accountants to ensure timely reporting and compliance.
  • Provide support for year-end tax preparation and audits.
  • Maintain client files in accordance with firm standards (digital binder system).


Qualifications

  • Required:
    • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
    • Payroll processing experience (ADP, QBO Payroll, or Accounting CS).
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP basics and double-entry accounting.
    • Ability to manage multiple client accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience working in a public accounting firm.
    • Familiarity with payroll tax compliance and multi-state payroll.
    • Experience with CAS or outsourced CFO services.
