Aeon for Ocean is a U.S.-based, volunteer run nonprofit founded by 7-year-old Aeon in Minnesota, to share knowledge about marine life, the oceans, and our role in protecting this planet.
Our focus is on helping inland communities understand why the ocean matters and identify things they can do to protect the ocean. Through our Krill2Whale program and other initiatives, Aeon for Ocean is teaching kids they can save the World Ocean for eons!

Position Description
We are seeking a qualified and motivated professional with experience in virtual education platforms to support our online learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Canvas and a strong understanding of best practices in digital instruction and course design.

Your Impact on our Mission

- Develop, manage, and support courses on Canvas LMS and/or other online platforms
- Ensure courses meet accessibility and quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with IT as needed
- Stay current with emerging trends in educational technology and e-learning
Along with their passion for our mission, the successful candidate will possess the following qualifications
- Proven experience with Canvas Learning Management System (LMS)
- Background in education, instructional design, or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with other digital learning tools is a plus
- Experience in nonprofit sector or ocean conservation is desired
