Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team for a construction project in Kansas City.

  • Location: Kansas City, between Missouri and Kansas
  • Project: Large-scale Civil Infrastructure
  • Estimated duration of the position: 1 year - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
  • Summary: The surveyor will play a key role in the final stages of construction, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all as-built documentation.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Conduct topographic and construction surveys for levee and floodwall works.
  • Prepare and deliver as-built surveys for project completion.
  • Perform precise measurements of earthworks, hydraulic structures, and closure systems.
  • Verify elevations, alignments, and layouts in accordance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and construction teams to ensure technical accuracy. Maintain survey equipment and ensure calibration standards.
  • Produce and manage survey reports and technical documentation.
  • Requirements:
  • Degree in Land Surveying or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of survey instruments (Total Station, GPS, levels, scanners).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly
  • Starting date: to be determined
