Contract type: Full time

civ.works is a privacy protected social platform built for meaningful civic action.
The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
,
The current time is creating anxiety for everyone, and difficulties for many around the globe. We are looking for volunteers to start a 'Resilience Club' at your school that will concretely address both problems, in a creative way we will raise small amounts of funds to bring in virtual speakers who have shown tremendous resilience in their local areas, to speak to the club and answer questions. People who have lived through displacement and disaster and have organized and thrived, who have succeeded at moving from dictatorship to democracy in their countries, can come speak and discuss in small groups the feelings and concerns that members may have. This creative engagement can unlock new strategies for hope and resilience in our time.
Also if you are already a member of a club who might like to do a one-off speaker, also please respond here.
