Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general property systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve tenant maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Repair and maintain structural elements such as doors, walls, flooring, cabinets, and windows
• Install or replace fixtures, appliances, shelving, and other property components
• Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas organized, safe, and in proper working condition
• Accurately document completed work and communicate follow-ups as needed
• Rotate into the on-call schedule to handle after-hours emergency service calls
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience in property maintenance or related trades preferred
• Strong knowledge of general home repairs, building systems, and code-compliant practices
• Able to assess issues independently and complete quality repairs without supervision
• Reliable work truck and Full set of professional tools required
• Comfortable working in both residential and commercial environments
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Clear communicator with tenants, team members, and supervisors
• Strong work ethic and a professional demeanor under pressure

Schedule

• Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• On-Call Rotation: Every 6-12 weeks for evenings/weekends
• Overtime may be required during high-demand periods or emergencies

• Hybrid Field Role: Based in and around New Haven, Connecticut
• Work involves daily travel between properties in the region
