We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Tool Maker to operate and program 3- or 4-axis mills and lathes (horizontal or vertical) in a dynamic aerospace tooling manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently, interpret technical documentation, and ensure precision machining of complex components.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Tool Maker to operate and program 3- or 4-axis mills and lathes (horizontal or vertical) in a dynamic aerospace tooling manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently, interpret technical documentation, and ensure precision machining of complex components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T drawings and specifications to plan machining processes.
- Program CNC mills and lathes, setting reference points, tool registers, offsets, and knowledge of Mastercam a plus.
- Set up machines by installing chucks, tools, align and indicate vices and heads.
- Execute machining operations such as milling, turning, facing, threading, knurling, grooving, and drilling with precision.
- Adjust and reprogram machines as needed to maintain part quality and efficiency.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Participate in training and stay up-to-date on machining best practices and technologies.
- Minimum 2 years of machining experience or completion of a recognized Machining Certificate program.
- Ability to independently set up and operate CNC machines in a non-production environment.
- Familiarity with blueprints, GD&T, and inspection tools.
- Aerospace machining experience is a strong plus.
- Programming experience is a plus, but not required.
