Salary range for RSAM Registered Nurses $43.10- $68.08 / hour
To provide nursing care at Brighton Center for Specialty Care with a primary focus on our adult neurology and sleep medicine clinics (including but not limited to general neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders and multiple sclerosis) however could provide care to other clinical specialties. CLIN CARE COORD- COMPETENT.
Actual RSAM LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
RSAM levels range from CCC-COMPETENT to CCC-EXPERT TO CCC-MASTERY.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the
position.

Required Qualifications*
(As evidenced by interviews, performance appraisals and reference feedback)
Bachelor Degree in Nursing OR
Associates degree/diploma in Nursing along with a Master Degree in Nursing
Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
Minimum of three (3) years recent (within last five (5) years) experience working with adult neurology focused population and/or sleep medicine
NOTE: Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the

Desired Qualifications*
Ambulatory care experience with a clinic focused role including phone triage.
Clinical certification in a specialty
Demonstrated experience with program development.
Demonstrated research experience.
Work Schedule
Hours: 40 hours per week
Days/ Shift: Day shift, specific hours to be determined upon hire
Location: Brighton Center for Specialty Care (possible support to other neurology/sleep medicine patients across ambulatory care)
Note: All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.

- Assist providers with care of patients inclusive of treatments, assessments, and patient care orders/plans . Provide patient and family education including mask adherence for PAP therapy, oxygen cannula and medications as well as healthy sleep habits, iron supplementation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives such as CPAP adherence, PAP troubleshooting and oxygen adherence. Follow up for multidisciplinary clinic patients such as ? multi-disciplinary sleep clinic and Refractory to CPAP clinic. Provide multidisciplinary care coordination to neurology patients.
- Provide telephone management which includes triage of calls and portal messages from patients, families, clinicians and other healthcare team members.
- Provide nursing visits for education, symptom management and other patient care needs as they arise.
- Collaborate with other health team members and associated resource persons to provide continuity of care and care coordination for the neurology and sleep medicine population.
- Participation in medical emergency response for patients/families at Brighton Center for Specialty Care
- Training and on-boarding of staff as needed
- Candidate must be able to function independently with minimal supervision and be highly motivated to provide excellent care and patient advocacy.
- Provide support to other specialties in the Adult Specialty suite as needed and appropriately based on training and competency
- Participate in research.
