Key Duties:
- Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our residents' main caregiver, providing support for all activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.
- Maintain patient stability by monitoring weight, vitals, and input/output.
- Communicate any observations of changes in a resident’s status to the nursing team.
- Assist nurses and other medical staff with procedures and treatments as needed.
- Ensure resident rooms and living areas are clean, comfortable, and safe.
- Support residents’ emotional well-being by providing companionship and social interaction.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
- Valid CNA license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred.
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to manage residents based on maturity level and factuality.
