POSITION PURPOSE
The Graphic Designer leads the portfolio’s visual communication efforts in support of the business development team. This role partners with leadership across the portfolio to develop internal and external documents (e.g. resumes, bios, reports, etc.) used in response to RFPs and RFQs. Additionally, this role is responsible for creating collateral, brochures, slide decks, photo editing, illustrations, etc. that support internal and external projects. Lastly, the Graphic Designer will collaborate across teams to conceptualize and execute innovative designs that align with our brand identity and business goals.
WORKING HOURS
Standard hours Monday-Friday, 30-40 hours per week. This position is primarily remote and may require occasional travel. Strong preference given to applicants living in and around San Diego County.
Travel Requirements
Up to 5% domestic travel.

- Design and Production. Create and manage visually compelling digital and print designs, maintain brand guidelines, oversee the full design process, and organize assets for team use.

- Collaborative Contribution. Collaborate across teams to deliver design solutions aligned with business goals, analyze and optimize visual content, and act as a brand ambassador while applying best practices in design and user experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is required.
- 5+ years’ experience as a professional graphic designer, with experience in B2B graphic design.
- Proven understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and branding principles.
- Adobe Creative Suite mastery, particularly in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Advanced or Master level expertise in design for PowerPoint and presentation creation.
- Proficiency in the use of AI-based graphics platforms (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Canva, Midjourney, Leonardo AI, etc.).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and Canva.
- Understanding of digital platforms (e.g., WordPress, email platforms like Constant Contact, MailChimp, or HubSpot).
- A California resident living in or near San Diego County is preferred.
