We are looking for a skilled Electrical Detailer/Designer to bring precision, innovation, and collaboration to our design team. In this role, you’ll transform concepts into detailed 3D electrical system designs, helping to shape projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Your work will directly support our mission of delivering safe, efficient, and forward-thinking solutions for our clients.
What You’ll Do
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and Revit models.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and cross-discipline teams to create effective, integrated designs.
- Ensure all drawings meet NEC requirements, client specifications, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support mechanical design efforts when needed to ensure seamless coordination.
- Conduct field measurements and checks to verify design accuracy.
- Uphold company standards to ensure consistency across projects.
- Proficiency in Revit (required), with additional skills in Navisworks and AutoCAD.
- Solid understanding of the NEC and other electrical codes.
- Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with design/drafting experience OR 5+ years of electrical drafting/design experience.
- Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required):
- HVAC, piping, and plumbing drafting experience
- Basic understanding of other commercial building systems
