About The Job
SAS Institute is looking for a well-organized Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the SVP of Global Technical Support, ensuring efficient and effective operations. The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing the schedule and communications of the SVP of Global Technical Support, including prioritizing email, gathering documentation to prepare for meetings, coordinating travel arrangement, and more. This role requires a positive outlook, strong organizational skills, excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

As an Executive Assistant you will have the following Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Manage and maintain the executive’s calendar, schedule meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
- Communication: Screen and prioritize incoming communications (emails, calls, etc.), ensure timely and accurate responses. Writing and editing emails, memos and communications on the executive’s behalf
- Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and book travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation and transportation
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare for meetings, including setting agendas, preparing materials and taking minutes
- Expense Management: Assist with expense reports and other financial tasks as needed
- Project Support: Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the executive
- Liaison: Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

- Associate's degree in Secretarial Science, Business Administration, Administrative Office Technology, or related field.
- Typically requires ten years of general office experience, including experience supporting senior level executives/managers within and outside the company.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
