Position/Salary and Benefits: Records Clerk III, Grade 18, $18.57 hourly/ $38,629.28 annually

JOB DUTIES: Primarily responsible for compiling, logging and distributing of all files, court documents and correspondence between Court Services, court divisions and other internal and external agencies. Maintain the office copy center, resolving issues with the copiers and recognizing when repairs are needed and contacting the appropriate service. Manage all outgoing and incoming mail between Court Services and the USPS. Electronically file documents using the Judicial Branch E-Flex System. Upload electronic documents from internal staff and external agencies, and manually image documents, to the Court Services Social Files. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Shawnee County Courthouse. Position description and job duties are subject to change to meet the needs of agency and the Court.
Required education and experience: Graduation from high school or GED. Six months’
experience in clerical office work/computer data entry.
Preferred qualifications: Dependable and detail-oriented team player, able to accurately read and summarize written material, work with the public and type 40-50 wpm. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel 2010 would be helpful. Candidates must be able to physically deliver documents throughout the courthouse and lift boxes of paper weighing up to 25 lbs.
