The HR Benefits Coordinator assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, maintains employee database and files, and assists with payroll processing as it relates to benefits deductions.

The HR Benefits Coordinator assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, maintains employee database and files, and assists with payroll processing as it relates to benefits deductions.
Essential Job Duties

- Coordinates the Employee Benefit Program. In addition, conducts audits and responds to employee inquiries regarding necessary benefits.
- Provides new employees/ transfers with orientation material relative to the benefits program and manages annual benefits enrollment.
- Files all Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance claims.
- Ensures new employees/transfers submits all required documentation and is presented and communicated effectively, including the benefit package and/or deadlines.
- Sends out regular communication about benefit updates, special promotions, or benefit related events.
- Maintains knowledge of current developments and trends of employee benefits and incorporates them into position responsibilities as applicable.
