What's the Job?
- Perform validation testing of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, including characterization by western blotting, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry.
- Conduct antibody purification and conjugation experiments as needed to support research and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate the affinity and specificity of antibodies in various immunoassays to ensure quality and performance.
- Manage inventories of antibodies, cell lines, tissue sections, and test reagents, maintaining organized and accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and improve immunoassay protocols and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience or interest in immunoassay techniques, cell culture, tissue sectioning, microscopy, and flow cytometry.
- Knowledge of protein/peptide chemistry and protein purification is preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Strong organizational skills for data management and record keeping.
