An industry leading U.S. manufacturing company is looking to hire an EHS Coordinator to join their team in the Poplar Bluff, MO area.
Working in a hybrid capacity, the EHS Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the EHS Manager and assigned facilities in reaching safety and environmental goals, including OSHA compliance, organizing safety records, and assisting with training programs.

Working in a hybrid capacity, the EHS Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the EHS Manager and assigned facilities in reaching safety and environmental goals, including OSHA compliance, organizing safety records, and assisting with training programs.
The Role
- Work closely with the EHS Manager in providing OSHA compliance guidance regarding equipment, supplies, and environmental matters.
- Assist in developing safety programs and objectives, and coordinate and/or conduct training programs.
- Help assigned facilities organize and maintain safety records such as annual training logs for all required OSHA, EPA, and D.O.T. training.
- Analyze EHS data and report findings to the EHS Manager.
- Conduct EHS evaluations of new equipment, chemicals, procedures, and process changes.
- Assist with hazardous, special, and universal waste management.
- Monitor progress of environmental improvement programs.
- Handle ergonomic analysis of individual workstations, departments, tasks, processes, and tools used.
- Participate in the investigation process.
- Conduct regular EHS facility inspections, such as safety and housekeeping audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- 0-3 years of safety-related experience where safety was the majority of your responsibilities (internships will be considered)
- Expected travel – 75% to regional sites
- A willingness to learn about new safety and to build a safe environment.
- Experience with near misses and post-incident, IH evaluations, and training strongly preferred.
