We are looking to hire a new Director of Concert Booking to join our team here at Intuit Dome! The Intuit Dome is the best fan experience in sports. Built for the fan, by the fan, the basketball-obsessed arena and entertainment venue delivers a uniquely intimate and intense live event experience with all the comforts of home.
In this role your primary responsibility is to book concerts year-round at Intuit Dome. As the Director of Concert Booking you will focus on the profitability and overall revenue goals of the arena hosted concert business. This position will deliver an excellent level of procurement, customer service and build effective relationships with clients, promoters, arena staff and guests. This role will require a high level of integrity and confidentiality due to the nature of the business. This role will report to the Vice President of Booking.

What You Will Do
- Identify and secure live concert events for the Intuit Dome by developing relationships with reputable promoters, local market contacts, booking agents and talent managers.
- Curate a calendar of events that align with the venue’s aesthetics and culture.
- Lead all aspects of booking events inclusive of communicating deal points, contract generating, working with finance and production on budgets and final event settlement.
- Works in conjunction with building marketing, event services, operations, and food & beverage staff in the planning and execution of all events.
- Identify low-usage periods and formulate strategies to increase facility usage and revenue production during these periods.
- Expanded role of show coverage, on-site presence, and key contact for respective clients.
- Work with event management and ticketing for concert set up planning, CAD drawing review and scaling of venue of events.
- Assist with development and administration of the annual budget and event forecasting.
- Conduct facility tours for potential clients; answer questions and provide information regarding venue capabilities.
- Maintain high standards, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent working experience.
- 8+ years of progressive booking and programming experience in a stadium and/or arena.
- Extensive understanding of event booking within a venue including event settlements, creation of event mix, event proforma, budget development, event license agreements, insurance, etc.
- Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close and develop data-driven analytics, reporting and metrics to assess the success and impact of each event.
- Ticketing experience and knowledge of building a manifest.
- Knowledge of producing shows including seating charts, stage setup and scheduling.
- Experience working with a professional sports team.
- Excellent communication skills, detailed oriented and multi-tasker.
- Self-starter with the ability to act as liaison with internal and external parties.
- Able to work extended hours, including many nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The range for this position is $150,000 - $160,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- The role is classified as exempt.
