Responsibilities
The Real Estate Investment Analyst will support the Investments and Asset Management teams in evaluating and underwriting potential investments, conducting due diligence, crafting presentation materials, aiding development efforts, developing monthly and quarterly reports for existing investments including updating financial models and managing assets within our portfolio. This role is integral to ensuring the success of our investment strategies, existing assets and delivering value to stakeholders.
Responsibilities Include
With a minimum of one year of experience in real estate underwriting analysis and general asset management, this person is expected to have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or college; a degree in Real Estate or Finance is highly preferred.

Work in Century City Office, in-person, five days a week.

Responsibilities
The Real Estate Investment Analyst will support the Investments and Asset Management teams in evaluating and underwriting potential investments, conducting due diligence, crafting presentation materials, aiding development efforts, developing monthly and quarterly reports for existing investments including updating financial models and managing assets within our portfolio. This role is integral to ensuring the success of our investment strategies, existing assets and delivering value to stakeholders.
Responsibilities Include
- Create complex, Excel-based acquisition and development cash flow models for the evaluation of potential investment opportunities.
- Work with the Design + Construction team to ensure development budgets and schedules are accurate and properly integrated into financial models and reporting.
- Collect and analyze comparable market project data in order to benchmark operations and exit value.
- Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda, which clearly communicates the investment opportunity.
- Provide support in executing the closing of transactions including coordinating with capital partners, legal counsel, and title company; providing information for and reviewing settlement statements; and ensuring data organization and integrity.
- Present investment rationale to senior team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor/asset manage existing portfolio assets including engaging with third parties and partners. Evaluate and underwrite opportunities including recapitalizations and dispositions. Present rationale to senior team members.
- Analyze operational and lease structures, financial statements, and tenant credit across a variety of asset classes including multifamily, student housing, condominiums, office, retail, industrial, and hospitality.
- Prepare detailed monthly reporting for presentation to Investment Committee.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow projections and presentations for the portfolio and other ad hoc financial reporting as necessary.
- Participate in both evaluating and utilizing technologies including AI to support investing and asset management to improve efficiency, efficacy and time management.
- Lead technologies evaluation, piloting, implementation for investing and asset management related tasks.

- Actual experience with all responsibilities listed in the position specification.
- This person should have strong quantitative, financial modeling and valuation skills, and a fundamental understanding of real estate finance and asset management.
- Real estate investment banking or real estate private equity experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is expected.
- This person should be a team player with an excellent attitude and strong work ethic.
- This person must also be a self-starter who has the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and is comfortable working under time constraints.
- The successful candidate is also expected to have high attention to detail and accuracy.
- The Analyst must be prepared for moderate travel typically quarterly (but can vary) including overnight trips to assets or investment opportunities throughout the US and EAP offices (NYC and LA).
